PHILOSOPHY NOW: online home of one of the few good philosophy magazines available in Britain. contains interesting archive of past articles. Writen in an un-technical, informal  style.

THE OPEN DIRECTORY: "the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the web"  provides the core directory services for google and lycos amongst others.

THE WINDOW: information about quite a few philosophers, some good links within articles to other sites. the main feature is the facilities for searching
