Outdoor expeditions give participants an ideal opportunity be reflective, away from their everyday routines. Many of the activities give opportunities to plan, learn from mistakes and they can make rapid improvement. Often leadership potential can be spotted in our participants. Most aspects of outdoor education require teamwork skills and few learing learning opportunities are lost in this regard by the leaders who hold regular reviews. Our leaders are qualified and experienced teachers as well as outdoor instructors.
Participants are encouraged to assess their personal capabilities prior to expedition using a structured framework to set personal goals. There are opportunities for participants to become assistant leaders at 18 years.
Ours are not camping trips.
We structure opportunities for pupils to learn
more about themselves.
