Learning Support Assistant

Applications are invited for the post of Learning Support Assistant for September 2020

The School is seeking to appoint three dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work alongside colleagues throughout the school.  Candidates should be suitably qualified or have experience of working on a one to one and group basis supporting pupils with SEND in all aspects of school life.

The School would be interested in candidates who have experience of working with pupils with EAL.  An additional allowance may be payable for this.  This skill is not an essential requirement, however.

Salary: £13,326 to £16,733 (school scale) depending on experience (term time only rate).

Hours of work:    30 hours per week.  8.30am to 3.30pm, excluding a one hour lunch-break.  Term-time only (38 weeks per year)

Head of Learning Support (SENDCo)

We are recruiting for a Head of Learning Support to lead our supportive and collegial SEND department. A full-time position working as ‘Receptionist’.

Hours of work                 37.5 hours per week

                                           7.45am – 4.15pm term time; 8:30 am – 5.00pm school holidays

                                           25 days of holiday per annum

Basic salary:                    In the region of £21,000 - £22,000 depending on experience
