Congratulations to our pupils and staff on an outstanding set of A-level results — an exceptional vintage, placing this year’s performance among the very best in the School’s history and demonstrating the sustained, exceptionally high standards achieved by our pupils. This year’s headline figures are:
44% of all grades at A*/A
78% at A*-B
95% at A*-C
37 pupils – 19% of the cohort – achieving A*/A/A or more
48 pupils — 25% of the cohort — achieving three or more A grades
With university destinations still being confirmed, 72% of pupils have already secured their higher-education offers, with the vast majority progressing to highly competitive Russell Group universities. Others have won places at leading overseas universities, art colleges and conservatoires, or secured prestigious degree apprenticeships. These exceptional outcomes reflect not only the academic ambition, talent and hard work of our pupils, but also the extraordinary commitment and expertise of their teachers and the support of families throughout their time at the School. Our leavers now cross the threshold into the next stage of their education and lives equipped to thrive. They should take enormous pride in what they have achieved. We congratulate them all.
Congratulations to all our pupils and staff on another impressive set of GCSE results.

Together with parents, our task is to help form, develop and polish the three attributes of human character that makes us wise, and admirable in the eyes of others and most important, in the eyes of Almighty God: The Intellectual, the Moral and the Spiritual….
Our curriculum is rooted in the unifying task of forming Oratorians through the course of all the three stages of our school: In the Junior House, in the Senior School and in the Sixth Form.
We see the identification, pursuit and celebration of what are called the ‘Cardinal’ Virtues of Prudence, Justice, Temperance and Fortitude as a central part of what we strive to offer so as to harness Saint John Henry’s educational vision and make it our own.
