Please note:
Effective two-way communications are an important part of the school-home relationship – but, given the staff:pupil ratios and the ease with which communication can now be made, they need managing from a range of wellbeing and HR perspectives in order to remain effective.
If contacting the Headmaster, please do so via HMPA who can screen and schedule responses accordingly; please do not assume that you will receive a response if emailing the Headmaster directly.
Please avoid sending emails outside of core hours, at weekends and during school holidays. Emails may not be responded to outside of School days and the core hours of 8am-5pm. Staff will endeavour to give an initial response or holding notice to your emails within 3 school days, depending on the nature of the issue(s).
Prefer short, crisp emails: if you would like time to set out your issue fully, then please book an appointment with the relevant person during an appropriate point in the School day.
Rude, abusive, threatening, derogatory, frivolous, malicious, persistent, overlong and/or other emails that breach basic etiquette and civility in the written and typed word may be subject to a significantly longer response time, whilst advice is sought from elsewhere.
